Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba. The family moved to Miami after she reached two years old. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami at the age of 2 years old and was accompanied by family members. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the presenter and host for Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado" one of the most popular Spanish-language shows that the channel airs. The show was nominated for an Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. It was in 2015 as the highest in all key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. Following her graduation the Florida International University's Political science program, she relocated to Havana and lived there for the next 20 years. The following year she received her PhD degree in law at the University of Miami.
